Collaborative Lectures

The Journey from the Forest to Trolska Skogen—A Story of Hope.

Alone is not always strong. Together, you can get much further. Helena Brusell, founder and director, talks about large and small collaborations that have made Trolska Skogen possible. Like when 200 volunteers together build the fairy-tale forest that creates new jobs, new residents and increased local pride.

Community Means Preparedness
Preparedness is community And vice versa! If we draw on each other’s knowledge and our own unique strengths, we’ll be healthier, better prepared for changing times, and able to create a safer world for future generations.
Here is how Carolina Classon, emergency response coordinator for the municipality of Nordanstig, describes it:;
”Helena is a fantastic speaker who, with her warm and engaging style, both inspires and encourages reflection. She generously shares concrete and inspiring examples of how companion planting and community can empower both individuals and entire local communities. By highlighting the power of community ”She shows how to strengthen your own household preparedness and how to build a stronger community—together. A talk that truly moves you and inspires you to take action, find strength, and have courage!"

Lecture on growing together

Helena talks about the fun and meaningfulness of growing food together.
It all started as a theoretical school project that then literally grew and grew. Today we are over 30 people growing vegetables, flowers and honey together and sharing the harvest.
It has yielded so much more than replenished supplies of non-toxic food;
Community, natural knowledge transfer, local development, courses in processing, cultivation, seeds and soil. A contribution to the environment, a better understanding and respect for food in general and local food in particular.
Do you want to start a co-op in your association, company, school or village? Or are generally curious about how we have done it? Then this is the lecture for you.

Combined lecture

Helena Brusell talks about collaboration, sustainability and co-cultivation, based on Trolska Skogen. She will also talk about how we created the art project ”To crochet a lake” with 700 crocheters from all over Sweden during the darkest days of the pandemic.
